Have a beer at the shore

The long awaited Memorial Day weekend has finally arrived and we know everyone is itching to get out and do some constructive eating and drinking.  We suggest taking advantage of the lowest gasoline prices since March 2010 (we know this won’t last  long). Simple Saturday Events-Rioja Restaurant Week in NYC

[tweetmeme source=”PIWC2” only_single=false]
In the mood for something a little different? May we suggest this great event:

Rioja Restaurant Week is coming to NYC. Celebrate the arrival of spring and the end of the great recession by exploring Rioja Week in New York. From May 13-27 explore the wines of Rioja at 25 great New York City restaurants.

Spanish grape varietals may be a mystery to some, but there is no better time than now to explore them. Rioja wines are rich and classic and represent a value to consumers in this economy. Many Riojas are top rated and go great with tapas and other grilled meats.

Click here to view top rated Rioja wines below $25.
Rioja wines also go great with BBQ. May is national BBQ month
The Rioja region of Spain is famous for its red wines. Tempranillo is the premier grape of the Rioja region with Garnacha coming in a close second.
